Hi All
I've just received this from a workmate....and he wants an explanation !!
You'll note there is only a reference to the headers in the formulae.
I'm interested how it's doen. There is no code, or named ranges.
Maybe it's so obvious, I'm looking too hard

Ditto that !!
All I can see with this is pain and suffering.
Might be a good post for the Lounge to see if anyone has actually found it useful !!

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Nice catch on the label Rory.

I have never used them, so it didn't occur to me. Good to see them off the map now.

FYI, John Walkenbach's comments in "Microsoft Excel 2000 Power Programming with VBA", published by Hungry Minds. ISBN 0-7645-3263-4. Page 42.

While this type of thing may be convenient, I suggest that you avoid this feature like the plague. Using these pseudo names is unreliable and difficult to document, and you cannot use these names in your VBA code.
