I have a list of 6 people who play games against each other. At the end of all the games i need to be able to provide a drop down menu if 2 or more people have the same points, goals for, goals against.

Can text cells be automatically entered into a drop down menu on a separate part of the spreadsheet. I think I need a formula that asks something like: If player 1 equals 10points, 5 goal for, 5 goals against, and player 2 equals 10points, 5 goal for, 5 goals against then add both players to drop down menu.

From this drop down menu I can select a preference (player 1 or player 2)

Surfed the web to find examples but can't seem to find anything close to what i need.

Many thanks for any information provided

Regards

Steve

When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
You can probably do this with some slightly complicated Data Validation.
What does your data look like, exactly ?
