Is there a function that will allow for the active cell's row and column to be highlighted at the same time (while working)?

Me again ;-)

Yahya or Jaafar Tribak,

Is there a way to combine your codes so that Yahya's solution, which preserves the formatting, can also allow multiple selection as Jaafar's solution does?

And how about a custom macro button linked to the PERSONAL.XLS file that would allow you to enable/disable this function on any active worksheet?

Wouldn't it be great (in my dreams)?

Thx,

W.

Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.

3)you will have Drop down list with "Cell Value Is " Change It to " Formula Is "
4) copy and paste the formula
=OR(CELL("row")=ROW(),CELL("col")=COLUMN())
5) choose your format
6) then Right click on sheet name --> View code , then paste this code
Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)
