Hello,

i have a table which contains a column for years from 2014 - 2016,showing only year no month no date and cells format is General .
I need a formula to hide the rows containing year in future ( 2020 till 2026 ) when its year 2020 that row should be unhidden and so on.

Thanks in advance.

here is a link to the file i am working on.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/6duoygiflg7ttjt/Test 2019.xlsm?dl=0

i want the data in rows 11-17 to be hidden in sheet Statistics, cause we are in year 2019, when its 2020 the data in row 11 should appear and so on, there is no data right now cause there is no data on the other sheets
hope this would help, and thanks for all those who helped me.

if not clear what i want, so if anyone can adjust the following formula "=SUM('60001:60300'!C36)" and make it hide the data the if year is in future for example 2020.

Best regards.

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
YOUNAN,

I have had problems in the past when attempting to download/open an Excel file with macros, with the xlsm file extension.

Please rename a copy of your workbook, with your macro, with the xlsx extension, and, then upload a copy of your file to a free site such as www.box.com or www.dropbox.com.

Could you share your macro code?

When posting VBA code, please use Code Tags - like this:

'Paste your code here.
