help with searching

Hi

I have 12 sheets named after each month in column A there is a client number and in column B a client name. Each sheet holding upto 100 clients.

what i want to do is if I type any client number into sheet number 13 colum A (named status) I want it to copy the clients name into column B on the sheet named status.

Would prefer to use a formula if possible please

nope it keeps saying compile error invalid outside procedure

That compiles OK for me.

Try deleting everything in the code window then paste in everything (between the code tags) that I posted above.
