Hello everyone,

I am working with Turkish election results data and am trying to make a pie chart on each city depicting the results. Below you can see first few lines of my data:

Then I select this and create the following on PowerView:

However, my goal is to create a pie chart representing 5 political parties (4 parties and Others to be more precise) in each city. I have checked multiple tutorials online but they do not explain how exactly I can make this work. They say I need to create a "category field" capturing different values (I guess the 5 political parties in this case) but they don't show how to do so.

I would appreciate any help you would provide about this. At the end I want something in the below format.

Thank you in advance !

Excel Facts

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
Hi,
You need to unpivot the party columns (using Power Query), so that you table looks like this:
The new "Attribute" column will probably be what the tutorials refer to as "Category" column.

Country City Attribute Value
Turkey Adana AKP 29,95
Turkey Adana CHP 28,82
Turkey Adana MHP 23,4
Turkey Adana HDP 14,43
Turkey Adana Other 3,4
Turkey Adiyaman AKP 58,18
Turkey Adiyaman CHP 11,36
Turkey Adiyaman MHP 4,22
Turkey Adiyaman HDP 22,69
Turkey Adiyaman Other 3,55

Please let me know if you need help with unpivoting.
hth, Imke

Thank you very much! It worked out and I got exactly what I wanted.
Do you mind if I ask you another question?

Is there a (preferably free) way to generate heat maps on Excel or any other program you might want to suggest?

Thank you again!
