Gray bar overlays screen

Hi Folks:

I have posted this question before, and it has to do with the gray bar that sometimes overlays the left hand side of the screen when executing VBA that uses the activescreen.updating true and false ...

... the solution that was given to me was to drag tool bar over the grey bar and then to drag it off again ... although this works - it is not a solution I can give to my SVP

Not 100% sure what you are attempting to do but would an activewindow.refresh statement or something like that do it? (Not saying that's valid code but I am sure you can tell VBA to force it to re-draw the screen).
