I am not a programmer by trade, but do have some very basic knowledge of programming logic. I am looking for some references to learn VB only as it applies to excel. Any suggestions?

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
there are several web base learning sites
Mr Excel sells several different books/CD's on it
Ozgrid.com sells lessons on it

But if you don't have an application to try it on I think book learning it is not good as hands on lesson learned.

First: the Macro Recorder

Second: Do a Google search for "Free Excel VBA Tutorials", there are several.

Third: www.mrexcel.com Bill Jelen (aka. Mr. Excel) has a new book on VBA that several board members contributed to.

Fourth: John Walkenbach's Power Programming with Excel VBA is a great resource. Learn more at www.j-walk.com
