hi gurus I'm having troubling getting rid of the orange column of data. The way that I know is to create a pivot table with only the 2nd column of data but looking at the sample answer it's doable but for me the data source is greyed out. Thanks!
You cannot do this on an actual pivot chart, it is tied to the pivot table and removing a data column in the pivot in question is the ony way. But if you create a regular chart that happens to point to the pivot table area, then you can pull this off. The drawback of this is that the chart won't resize when the # of rows of the pivot changes.
