i have a coloumn "ID" which contains ID . in the next coloumn i want to get the name of the folder which contains a word file with same name as ID.
So for example, i have the ID 1234ABC
i want Excel to search my computer for a Word file called 1234ABC.DOC(x)
and return the folder that that file is in.
can any one help me with this(excel formula or Macro) any thing will be ok.
