I have a .xlsx that I am having issues with formulas. I put in a formula and do not get the result of the formula. The cell keeps displaying the formula. I have googled it and tried everything suggested but no luck. The latest thing that I tried was a copy/paste from the original spreadsheet into a new one and get the same result.
Any ideas?

That usually means that those cells you are placing your formulas in are formatted as Text, so EVERYTHING you enter in there is treated as literal text.
Change the format of those cells to General, and re-enter the formula, and I think that may fix your issue.

You are welcome!

Sometimes that happens on Excel files downloaded from the Web or generated from other programs.
