Has anyone else had this happen?
I'm running Excel in Office 2021.
Suddenly, if I click on a cell with a formula, and press F2 to go into "edit mode", the text color in the formula bar is turning orange?
Before, the formula would remain black, except for cell addresses.
Any ideas? It's a little annoying.

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
If you close out of Excel entirely, go back into it, and open a brand new blank workbook and try it there, does it do it there too?
If not, then it sounds like something specific to the workbook it is happening in, maybe some settings or VBA code.
