Does Anyone know how to write a formaula that will return the last entry in a Col. to the Total line in a table sort??? :confused::(:warning:

Excel Facts

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
Thanx Sir, That form. will help me in the future, im sure. However, I need to return the last entry in a Col. within a viewable table sort!!! I've been trying to figure this out by myself for days!!!

Huh?

Would this work?

=LOOKUP(2,1/(C1:C100<>""),C1:C100)

Would return either last numerical or text value

Could you elaborate on what "Col. within a viewable table sort" means?

Thanx for your reply, However that form. didn't work! I've tried about every combo. of index, match, & look-up, but nothing has worked!!! I guess because of the sort; it changes everything!

I need to be able to write a formula that will return in the Totals row in a table after a sort the last row entry within a Column. Excel does not give a option for this function. It gives me, sum, max., min., count, count Number, etc.

Did you create a table using Insert | Table, looking something like this:

<TABLE style="WIDTH: 144pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" border=0 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=192><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 48pt" span=3 width=64><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 14.4pt" height=19><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #95b3d7 0.5pt solid;
