Formatting issue

Okay, so I have tried to Google this issue and can't seem to find anything or I'm not using the right key words. I have Excel 2010, my boss has 2016, and a coworker has 2013. All of my spreadsheets are Calibri, font size 10 and all spreadsheets are autofitted. When my boss or coworker opens my files (2010), the formatting stays but when my coworker (2013 version) sends my boss or myself a file, the autofitting seems to disappear. My coworker is also using the same font, font size and autofitting her spreadsheets. My initial thought was that it was an issue with the different versions, but my boss (who has 2016) and I never have issues with files...only when the 2013 version is involved. I am lost as to why this is happening and frustrated with having to re-format everything before using the file. Any help is appreciated and if you need any further clarification, please let me know.
