Hello all,

Wondering if/what is the best way to highlight the column containing today's date on my roster project I am working on.
Thinking it could be conditional formatting otherwise a VBA code?
I would like to identify the date from the 3rd row, and whatever column has today's date the vertical borders change colour. This may not be easy as 2 columns share a border? Maybe it would be easier if the cell fill colour in that column was changed instead?

Obviously when a new date ticks over the original formatting would need to be reinstated.

Any ideas whats best way to tackle this?

Cheers.
Hayden

Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
You can see by the first example that colored lines don't show up well. Excel doesn't allow you to use thicker lines in Conditional Formatting; I don't know why. The second option looks better to me.
