Hey all,

I have a column of numbers in Column J. I also have a cell which I input a number in. I want a formula that then goes to get the number from the row in Column J specified. eg. If I input 10 into the cell, I want the value in J10 to be displayed. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers.

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Welcome to the board!

Maybe =indirect("J"&A1)

with your value of 10 being entered in A1
