Hey Guys,

Trying to figure out how to find and replace the same word that shows twice in the same cell. Is this possible? I took a text file and pasted it into excel to do a find and replace but realized I need it to find the next word in the same cell and its not doing that. I am trying to record a macro to do this so that going forward it will be automated since it is the same exact placement every time.

Thanks,

Jordan

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Could you give an example of what you have in the cell and what you expect as a result?

Also put the macro that you recorded.

Is it a column of data, or just one cell ?
As Dante has suggested, please provide sample data AND more info.

jordanburch,

It is always easier to help and test possible solutions if we could work with your actual file.

Perhaps you could upload a copy of your file to a free site such as www.box.com or www.dropbox.com.

Once you do that, mark it for 'Sharing' and you will be given a link to the file that you can post here.

Include a detailed explanation of what you would like to do referring to specific cells and worksheets.

If the workbook contains confidential information, you could replace it with generic data.

And, in order to assist you it would help us if you posted all of your macro code using code tags.

When posting VBA code, please use Code Tags - like this:
'Paste your code here.
