I am building a Call Center entry form to make data entry fast for the user and protect the structure of the workbook. My intent is that when a field tech calls in at the start of work the Operator would enter a key field, like the phone number from the Caller ID, onto a User Form. This would trigger a Lookup or Find action that would fill the fields on the form with the Data from the most recent date.
The Operator would then only have to make entries or changes to those that have changed. The tech will be on the same site for a few hours up to several weeks. The operator would take calls from each tech at least twice a day and possibly more as they have to check-in and check-out at the least.
I am on Windows 7 and Excel from Office14. I have training in VBA for Excel but needing to gain experience in using all that is available. Even finding help is difficult when you don't know how to ask questions.
