First off... For those of you who have helped me build this macro I've been working on for the better part of a month, thank you! Excel MVPs and experts, this has been a learning process for me, and I cannot tell you how grateful I am for your help and patience.

Currently, I am coming towards the end of the building process and I have noticed something is off, not with the macros, but with the workbook in general.

I have about 15 columns that the macro has created and input data into. When this macro is finished running, the data will have to be filtered for easier access to specific data (what filters are used for).

However, after I run these macros, hit the filter button under the "Data" tab, and try filtering any of the columns it either freezes Excel up, or takes an inordinate amount of time (i'm talking minutes) for the drop down to even appear.

What gives? How do I fix this?

Thanks,

Steve

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
Open a new empty workbook. Try copying all the data from your current workbook and pasting it into a blank sheet in the new workbook. Also copy the macro to the new workbook. Run the macro in the new workbook and try the filtering again. I've had the same problem and this method solved the problem for me.

Forgot to mention that it should be a new workbook not a new sheet in your current workbook.
