Filter for columns on another sheet

Hi,

I was wondering if there was a way of applying a 'filter' box on one spreadsheet which applies and adjusts a column on a different tab/sheet? I am not sure if there is an easy way of doing this, or whether a macro would need to be used. (Unfortunately I know nothing about Macros)

Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Chris

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Hi Baitmaster,

Sorry about this. Regarding the Max, Min etc. If I wanted to apply the same approach to this i.e. if B2 and B3 are blank then show the maximum/minimun for all data, do you know what would need to be included? I have tried adjusting the formula, however I can not appear to get it to work.

Thanks,

I'm struggling to think of how to construct this one. I've started a new thread here, in the hope more people will look at it (apologies for the duplicated thread, moderators!) - I find once you've covered a page or two less people look at it in detail...

Thanks,

I have inserted 'All' into B2 and B3, when I want it to apply to the whole data, instead of it being blank.

Cheers,

I've posted a formula to the other thread, as it answers the question raised there. I used "none" as no condition, instead of "all" which I've just noticed you used. No biggie...
