Extra blank workbook when opening file

When I open up one of my workbooks, my program automatically opens a blank workbook along with the requested workbook--it calls the blank one "Book 1" ...do I have something set up to do that?

This is really strange-I wasn't sure at first what you were talking about with the "RJCT1005:2" but then I remembered once I had a similar problem and was due to HIDING...so when I went and hit UNHIDE-here there are several workbooks that I've never created, let alone, hidden.

So your solution worked and I appreciate the help!

They are all the same workbook, just different windows.
