I have a windows 7 and Excel 2007. When I open an Excel either from Start or just open from Recent documents, I get the general Excel frame with the toolbar on top and the sheet opens kind of separate from it and the vertical bar cannot be seen. I can't seem to 'anchor' it to the toolbar. I checked the Options and it seems that they are all set correctly. Very frustrating. Thanks in advance for any tips.

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
It sounds like you just want to maximize the workbook window?

Oh, yes, and I did that and it attachess, but then I can't see the right side anyway. I am thinking now that it's the display settings but I did not change them.

Perhaps you turned off scrollbars for the workbook? Can't remember where it is in 2007 but probably in the Advanced section of Excel Options.

No, they are checked. It is indeed in the Advanced section. Hmmm. Maybe it is the display or something. And I have one monitor

Looks like it's not just Excel - I can't see the Google bar either, it's something with the scale of how my window fits. HAve to click the Resize and only then i see the bar
