Excel reference function

I'm wondering if there's a function to only reference the right most cell only if there's data in reference to function location in a row.
See attached for reference. I would only want to reference the number 5 and ignore every value to the left once input and every blank value before.
If there was a number input after the 5 to right , I would want it to now reference that number instead.
