excel, please stop recalculating!

Whay does excel say in the bottom status bar "calculating"... for quite some time, just when I insert a blank row, on a new blank sheet?

Other sheets I can understand, but not this one, every time.

If you have formatted the Worksheet using Excel Table format, it's possible that it will attempt to recalculate by itself.
Normally if the Automatic Calculation has been disabled through the interface, it will prevent update at the workbook level.

Now:
There's code in other sheets that does detect manual editing through keyboard typing. But not in that sheet.

perhaps you can provide copy of those code and where they are stored as it may be the reasons for those recalculations.
