Excel hyperlink to a PDF problem

Hi,

I've hyperlinked some text in a cell to a PDF document, when you click the link acrobat reader opens then instantly closes.

Any one had this problem before or know how to fix it?

Sounds like a problem with Acrobat, not Excel.

The only thing I've been able to find in my short search was this--and all it says is to make sure you have the most recent version of Acrobat.
