Hi,
I have Excel 2016 (365 ProPlus).
As soon as I start to change a cell's content it freezes.
I then close it from the task manager, open it in Safe Mode and it works fine.
I turned off all the Addins, but it didn't help. Also tried the Graphic accelerator on/off.

I run Windows 10 and have no issues with any other software.

I would appreciate any advice.

Thanks,
Tamir

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
I'm using an older version of excel (2007) so I can't comment on the specifics of Excel 2016 (365 ProPlus). but I wonder if this is a macro-related issue

Is this a macro-enabled workbook ? do you have the problem when changing ANY cell on ANY sheet or is the problem confined to a particular worksheet/ specific cells

Not to sound like the IT Crowd, but did you try restarting your whole computer? Always start with the simple solutions.

It happens when I start Excel with a new workbook and also when I open an existing xlsx workbook.
It happens often and restarting the computer does not help...

Any more ideas?

Thanks

so this is not a problem with one particular workbook - do you have the problem with every workbook or just some workbook(s)?
