Hi,

I just installed and registered Ms Office 2010 pro (v14.0.6023.1000, 32-bit) on a Windows 8 Pro machine.
When I try to open an .xlsm file excel gives me the message:
"Excel found unreadable content in ... Do you want to recover the contents of this workbook? If you trust the source of this workbook click yes."
When I click yes excel shows the next message:
"Excel was able to open the file by repairing or removing the unreadable content... removed part /xl/vbaproject.bin part."
The file is now open, but my VBA macros are gone, so the file is useless to me??

The file is completely ok, I just saved that xlsm on another machine with office 2010, and everything is working fine there...

I have this with every file that I open, apart from a file that I created with this excel install.

I already checked this office installation (even did a repair): VBA is installed and works. I can create new xlsm files with working macros.

How can I solve this problem?

some additional information:
before I installed this new office 2010 pro I installed and removed an other office 2010 as temporary solution. But as said: I removed this install before downloading and installing this new office 2010.
In that previous office 2010 install everything worked fine.

Regards,
B
