Excel data to appear as a chart in Word?

I know this can be done using bookmarks, but can’t find the instructions. I think it was part of a dashboard training.

Can anyone explain how to do this or point to a tutorial? Using Word/Excel 2010. Thanks!

It's not clear from your post whether it's the same data for the same two charts for every report, or whether each report has two charts using different data. Can you clarify?

Each report will need a pie chart and a butterfly chart. The data will be pulled from the same workbook, could be the same tab if necessary, but will be different data points. Thanks for your help Paul.
