I have a spreadsheet with drop down criteria that queries a database.

A 'command button' prompts the user to 'refresh' the data.

The macro is very simple. ' ActiveWorkbook.RefreshAll '
When 'clicked' on a 64 bit pc - Excel crashes. The only way out is to 'End Process' via Task Manager.
If I manually click Data-RefreshAll - no problem.
I have changed the macro to open a new workbook or a new sheet etc. Works fine.

All pc's are running Excel 32 bit MSO 2010.
On 32bit machines there is no issue - only on 64bit does the error occur.
32 bit pcs are running XP or Win7. 64bit pc's Win7.

I have checked all settings on the Pc's and can't see any reason for this.

Can anyone shed some light?
