Hi,

I've installed Excel 2002, but every time I enter a number in a cell, it gets multiplied by 10. (meaning 7 automatically becomes 70, etc). This is really annoying and it only happens in Excel. Can anybody help me solve this?

Thanks!

long shot and can't think how it would have happened, but do you have fixed decimals (tools>options) set to -1?

..and I bet that there's a FIX indicator on the right hand side of your status bar. Choose the Tools | Options... menu command, click on the Edit tab, and uncheck the "Fixed decimal" box.
