Does anyone know of a way to put error bars on a graph of the following type:

I varied x, I measured 2 different things (Expression and Cell Death)

As x increases, so do Expression and Cell Death.

I made a 3D bar graph showing for the various Xs, the bars representing the values of Expression and behind these the values for Cell Death

I have calculated the Standard deviation of the values for Expression as well as Cell Death. However, I cannot find a way to put Error bars on a 3D graph. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be much appreciated.

Hi RCraig,

If you add a second y or x axis, you can just click and delete key those axis to remove them and the data will revert back to the original axis for values/categorizations.

Let me know if you have any problems..

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Ok, I took off the second x axis, Graph looks fantastic! I don't fully understand the Overlap and Gap part, but what I did was to just keep adjusting things until it looked good. I have a bunch of graphs to do this way, so thanks so much! R
