Workbook with 3 sheets: Timesheet, Charts, Data.
ONLY the Timesheet when I enter a number or time, calculation is slow (~5-6 secs).
It does not happen with alpha characters.
Dimension for Timesheet is A1:AG566
A few vlookups and many if statements.
The thing that puzzles me is this happened suddenly.
Many of the cells are stand alone and not a precedent or dependent.

I just tried manual with no effect. I KNOW that I am no where near exceeding even 1000 precedents/dependents. I did fill in the rest of the fiscal year, but this is the 5th year using this template.

Excel Facts

Excel Can Read to You
Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
Then it appears that it isn't the calculations causing the slowness.
The only other advice I have for you is to try the file on a completely different network and/or computer and see if it has the same issues.

I have changed it to manual with no difference.

Should I try to copy/move the 3 sheets to a new workbook?

Well... copying to a new workbook didn't work

Another approach is to take a copy of the workbook and start deleting bits out of it bit by bit, e.g. start by deleting all the charts, see if the problem goes. Hopefully at some point you find a sudden improvement which will highlight where the probelm area is.

Another thing to check, is do you have a personal.xlsb file, or any add-ins loaded?
If yes, remove them all & see if that solves the problem. If it does start reloding them one by one to see when the problems re-occur.

Thank you Fluff. I do not have any add-ins loaded.
