"Enter Parameter Value" for a field I've deleted! Help, please

I'm pretty much brand new at Access 2007. I have a student who has been helping me with data entry. We've done something to the form that we can't figure out and can't fix.

From what she remembers, she created a new field in the wrong table and then deleted it. She then created the same field in the right table and tried to put that field in a form. Now, when we open the form, access pops up a dialog box that says "Enter Parameter Value: Annual Review Data. Inauguration Committee" where "annual review data" is the table and "inauguration committee" is the field.

My first solution was to delete the field from the form and the table and redo it. But that didn't outsmart Access. We're still getting the dialog box. Perhaps I haven't /really/ deleted the field because it still shows up in the Field List in the From design view. But where is it hiding? I've been wrestling with this for hours and might just throw the computer out the window.

Any other solutions?? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

I have the same issue EVERY TIME I delete a table field after I create a form. I found that the field is still in the Record Source for the form. When I delete the field, the problem goes away. This has been the same for a lot of years and updates to Access. It is clearly a bug because nowhere does MS tell you that this step is necessary. Like so many bugs, it is clear that MS has no intention of fixing it...ever.

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.

Yes, that is a field.

No,that is a control on the form. To call it a field is common but technically wrong.
To suggest that deleting a table field and leaving the control on the form and getting a parameter prompt when you open the form is a bug is, well, odd.
It's probably not covered by documentation because the notion that a control must be removed also, lest it be looking for its data, is common sense. If one forgets to do that, one gets the prompt as a reminder.

So if you added a new field in a table, would you expect that to be added as a control on your form, and where? :(
