Hi,

I have a data file CSV from my energy provider.

The data is in 30min increments and reports on 3 meters (General, Solar and Controlled Load)

How can I represent that in Excel graphically?

Thanks

Below is the app from the electricity provider, and the 2nd image is what i am trying to replicate using the data.

Whilst removing the 0 values from the data, does this impact the graphs?

Excel Facts

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
I'm guessing the graph will be compressed without the zeroes !
Dumb question here, but why not use the providers info app rather than Excel ??
AND
I note the providers graph doesn't really show 30 min increments ?

Hi Michael M,

The app will show me usage but won't let me modify the numbers so I can do some projections of what it looks like with a larger system.

I've had a bit of a play with the data and don't believe you will create a useful graph with 30 min increments !
I removed all the columns that weren't useful in a graph which left Meter type, end date / time and read value
By sorting the data into the 3 categories I managed to create a graph for each category......but anything longer than a month of data seems almost useless.
