Editing a formula

Hello,

I have this formula in my project in cell AC4, "=IF(D4>0;AC3-Y4;0)" . AC3 is a date cell equals year 2014.

if in Cell U3 i have date 2015, i want to get 0 in cell AC4.

The value in U4 is text, which is why the formula doesn't work.
Either convert it to a number or use
=IF(U4*1>AC3,0,IF(D4>0,AC3-Y4,0))
