I am really confused on something here...I am an access certified person and I am stumped whats wrong with that picture :)

Anyways, I have a table of over 900 entries that I created a query off of. Then I created a form off of it to do a search. I can make it so if I setup only one field to do the search it works, BUT if I set them all up so that any of them can have information put in and have it requery itself(With a command button). It doesnt work. Where am I going wrong? I followed the directions here (http://www.istraining.bham.ac.uk/Documents/Access/AccWordDocs/acc0006.doc) on how to setup a Query by form. So I dont know. Any suggestion

Not everything I do at work revolves around Excel. Only the fun parts.
I tired this yesturday and it did not seem to work, it kepts not allowing the variables

Dim db As Database
Dim QD As QueryDef
Dim where As Variant

then after that mess(which I never got to work nothing seem to be associated correctly...any ideas?

May be a question of missing references. Make sure you have Microsoft DAO 3.51 library checked or not missing.

Tanis,

I just wanted to thank you for posting the link above.

As a result of following the articles linked off of it, I was able to solve a problem that several Access folks had told me could not be done.

Thanks again,
