So, I have Vendor Codes on "Column A", Part # on "Column B", and Description on "Column C" ... is there a way to create a drop down list to pick from items that belong only to specific vendors? Example,

I want to select Vendor Code MCF1 (sorry that below I have a 2404 instead of MCF1 lol) but then I want the Part # drop menu to display items that belong ONLY to that Vendor ...

This is the list to gather the information from ...

OK ... so I was able to search a code that I put in the Data Validation Source as this ... =OFFSET($A$1,0,0,COUNTA($A:$A),1) and it works how I need it to. I just wish I knew why it would not read from column P lol.

Thanks everyone for helping me out :)

Who is Mr Spreadsheet?
Author John Walkenbach was Mr Spreadsheet until his retirement in June 2019.
here's another example of different Vendor selected, which has 3 items ... but shows a bunch of blanks below.
As I mentioned before, we cannot diagnose from an image. If we could get a small set of sample data with XL2BB showing that problem, we possibly could work it out.

Glad you have something that works. Thanks for letting us know. (y)

.. or possibly upload a sample workbook (any sensitive data removed or disguised) to DropBox or OneDrive or Google Drive etc with a publicly shared link posted here.
