Drop down list font size

Wondering if anyone has encountered this and if there is a solution. If I increase the zoom on the worksheet, the drop down list font size should also increase. This was working until earlier today. Now the font stays the same small size. This happens on both new and existing workbooks. I'm using 365.

Thanks

Steve

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Drop-Down List is ActiveX component, or Validation list?

Validation list. The look of the drop down has changed too. I have uninstalled and reinstalled office 365. This did not correct it. I'm thinking it was an Excel update perhaps.

I don't think that there is a way to increase font size in a Validation list.

You can't change the actual font size, but it used to be that if you changed the sheet zoom level the displayed size increases or decreases accordingly. The OP is saying that zoom no longer affects the displayed size. I have confirmed this in my version, which is Home 365 build 2307.

So, yeah, I think there has been an update that affects this.

I've got build 2308 & see the same thing. It also now removes duplicates if you use range for list & is searchable

There are pros and cons to having a subscription product that is subject to being updated without giving you an opportunity to read the release notes first.

Agreed, it would also be nice if they actually said what had changed.

Thanks everyone for the replies. It does appear to be the result of an Excel update since others are experiencing the same 'problem' I am. Not a fan of this but time to make the best of it. Again, thanks.
