Draw tool greyed out

Hello,

I noticed that when I'm using "Freeze Pane", my Draw tool becomes greyed out. Is there a workaround?

Next to the About Excel button, mine says:

Version 1903 (Build 11425.20202 Click to run)

In the About Excel dialog itself, it says:

Microsoft Excel for office 365 MSO (16.0.11425.20200) 64-bit

Anyway, which draw tool specifically are we talking about? The individual pens? Draw with touch?

Hey, It's the draw with Pens tool that is greyed out.

Can you update, or are you on a controlled update channel?

No, I do not have the option to upgrade independently.
