Don't update table

Hello,

I have two tables in access:
1.

Index
Name
supplier
materials

2.

Index
Supplier

In Query I have made combination with these tables that the supplier in table '1' is the index in table '2', but each update record is filling up my recors in table '2' and I want to limit the data to the data in it and without grow it.

Could you help me to do that?
