distribution of amount over a period

hi
i have two worksheet sheet 1 contains column A dates column B names column C amount. worksheet 2 row c2 to o2 contains dates which is 1st of each month row c3 to o3 the end of each month column a4 to a8 contains names which match column B in sheet 1.cell a is todays date . i want to distribute the sum of same names in sheet 1 which match's the names in sheet 2 accross the names in sheet 2 . eg sheet 1 abc has two amounts dated 1-4-24 amt 3000 and 1-9-24 1900. the sum of these need to be distributed in sheet 2 which match the name is sheet 1 across 4 cells where the cells value are more than 0 pls suggest a formula .I tried sumifs but cud not get it right
