Default date when cell is empty

Hi,

I have two sheets in the same work book.
Sheet 1 contains cells with dates which are copied over to Sheet 2

When there is no date listed in a cell on Sheet one, I would like to show a default date in Sheet 2 which will overwrite when there is a value in the cell in sheet one.

Any ideas?

Hello Sektor,

Sheet one is called " Lease status" Each week data from another sheet in another workbook get copied over to this Lease status sheet. ( copy paste) This Lease Status sheet this which contains cell J28 which is currently blank but needs a default date when is empty
Sheet two has reference in cell to sheet one "='Lease Status'!J28"
