Is there a way in access either by query or report to have the user select a date range before the query is run? For example the user wants to run a report for a specific fiscal year.

So when I put the parameter in and asked it for Fiscal Year 2020, it gave me 19 and 20. It asked me for the month as well but I don't know why.

Excel Facts

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
You haven't shown me a screen print of how you have your parameter set up, like I asked in my previous post.

Oh sorry, I thought you meant after I ran it with the parameter in place.

Do you have a de-sensitized version (any sensitive data removed) of the database you can upload and share?
That way I can play around with your database exactly as you have it (and not have to try to re-create it and hope I capture all the pertinent details).

Sure it just number counts of various categories of riders and routes. Not sure of the easiest way to upload it.

Just upload it to any file sharing site (i.e. OneDrive, DropBox, etc), and provide a link to it here in this thread.

It doesn't appear I can download that. It requires a sign-in.

What is the name of the query?
