Hi Everyone...

I am trying to find a way of putting a dependant cell (with a formula in it to populate it), and having a drop down list appear in the cell next to it, if and only if the dependant cell is not blank...

Any ideas...

Cheers, Snowmonster:)

Hiya Snow!

I only access this forum at work. I just got your post, I will work on it tonight for you.

What is the formula for the blank cells?

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Hiya Snow,

Try this...

=IF(ISTEXT(H3),Housekeepers,"")

Put that in the source box under data validation with chosen format of LIST. Keep me updated.
