CTRL + S not working as expected

I've had this problem show up before and I don't know what causes it.

I expect CTRL+S to save the workbook but instead, it's putting it into full screen, hiding my headings, and hiding my tabs... How do I fix this?

I've never assigned a shortcut to any macro, how do I check if that's the case?

The only way I know is to use F8 to bring up a list of your macros & then select each in turn & click options to see if there is a shortcut.

F8 doesn't bring up anything. It appears that is messed up too...

I don't see any shortcuts, even when I open a brand new excel document the CTRL+S does the same thing.

Negative, I don't use any currently.

In that case the only other thing I can think of is if one of your macros uses SendKeys.

Try opening Excel in safe mode & see if it still happens.
