Cross Hair Cell Section - Cannot Disable

I've reinstalled Microsoft 365, I've disabled all add-ins, I cannot get this random cross hair to go away. Does anyone know how to disable this? There is no Conditional Formatting applied either. This is a brand new workbook.

On the review tab, click the "Focus cell" icon.

Hmm, I have the feature but don't ever remember it being on by default. In fact I didn't even know about it until I read this thread.

Think yourself lucky then, because I had to turn it off when MS added it in for me. Plus for info something else to be aware of...

Yes, I saw that & I think that one might be a useful feature to keep on for me as I do sometimes have trouble working out where the Find has lobbed.
