Creating a "Vertical" chart question

I need to create a chart that runs vertically rather than horizontally...I can do this using the "Bars" option...
Here is where i get stuck. The chart is plotting data points of product measurements. I need to put a spec limit line on the chart..it also needs to run vertically..I can't seem to get that part to work..
Any ideas?
