Hello.

I have a file that has a master sheet that is formatted for a specific use. I have a list of part names on another sheet, there are 930 different parts. I am needing help creating a new copy of the master for each different part within the same excel document. Each sheet needs to be named after a different part. Basically, I need a copy of the master sheet for each unique item in column A and cell B1 to be named after the sheet name itself.

All unique items in column A need their own copy of the master sheet and their sheets need to be named - then cell B1 on the new sheets need to reflect the name of the sheet.

Hope that makes sense. Thank you!

mumps, thanks for this code, works for me as well. :) I changed it to use Column C for my data.

Just thinking out loud here, maybe yall have some ideas of how to do this (any help is appreciated), or I can start a new thread, just let me know...

Data in the Master sheet is Cols A:H with Col C being the sheet name values.

What I'm hoping is that I could copy matching values and transpose to rows, and then delete the rest of the columns not needed (that were part of the template copied to the new sheet)

So if values in Col F (match) the Sheet name from Col C, copy those Col F values to the wsName sheet transposed across the Top Row.
Then do the same with Col D and copy transpose them to Row 2
Then do the same with Col H and copy transpose them to Row 3

The Group column can contain letters and numbers and sometimes both
The Ser # only column can contain / slashes
Then would like to delete the generic columns not used (they won't have data in rows 2 or 3 by that point)
Example sheet:

Image shows hopefully. Thanks again.

Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Since you posted your question in another member's thread, I would suggest that you start a your own new thread.
