Hello,

I have a data set that I'm trying to link to my excel sheet. Right now I have to go to the website and click a link that then downloads an excel file for me to import to my sheet. I'm trying to automate that process.
The problem is that the link address to download that file is a Javascript url and when I try to Get Data -> From Web and paste that url, I get an error saying it's not the correct format.
Is there a different way to make a connection to this link?

Thanks,
David

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
If there is some logic and consistency in the JS link you could generate a string that represents the final URL.
Since JavaScript is human-readable, just open the Inspector in the browser of your choice, snoop around a little bit and maybe you find a function that creates the url.

Would you mind giving an example of such a JavaScript link? Or the address to this website?
