Trying to count employee's consecutive days worked (no more than 13, 14th has to be a rest day). Problem is.. count should restart after an absence.

Maybe this helps.. need to know how many consecutive days worked from current date. Restarting when day off (o) occurs.

Excel Facts

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
need to know how many consecutive days worked from current date.
You have mentioned this a couple of times, yet nowhere on your sheet are any dates so how do we know where to start and which way to count?

Also, it might help if you included the (manually entered) expected results for your data.

Good morning! The formula is working now. Thank you. Could we tweak it? An employee can't work more than 13 consecutive days. If day is missed, count starts over. Certain this would include TODAY formula, but have no idea how to implement. My apologies for not stating objective more clearly initially. Again, thank for your patience and brilliance! You are very helpful.

As Peter points out, there are no dates in your example, so there's no way to know how they relate to today.

Also, some specific examples of what your trying to do would be helpful.

The columns do have dates. It just occurred to me.... the font is white! Kinda hard to see... LoL...

That sure was a trap! ;)

OK, can you post another set of sample data (with dates we can read) with the expected result for each row entered manually and explain again why those are the expected results?

Also, why is just one date (8/5) missing from your previous sample data?
